[On a simpler scale] Ideally by identifying potential points for character development that serves the story. Ways to pave the road for where the primary arc is heading, help ground it and justify the events that take place.
For example; my main character (MC) is an abusive alcoholic, and my story arc is ultimately one of redemption, so one of the secondary arcs needs to follow a series of events and character conflicts that prepares the character for the resolution of the main arc. One could consider that part of the main story arc, but that generally feels too restrictive and focused for a larger story setting (my preference of genre for this example).
Will there be a video link for the class for subscribers who could not make the live stream last night?
Question for class! How do you prioritize or manage secondary-story arcs when building a story arc?

I am new and excited to join. What time zone is the 9:30 class?
EST!
What books/arcs are covered other than — I’m assuming — The Black Mirror? I wanna read/read-read the covered arcs before listening to :)
Dang! Missed it live but will catch the replay. 😅
Has there been any thought put into Scott doing a book on comic book writing? I'd love a book on craft from him. 🙌
