Tonight's Comic Writing class on BUILDING STORY ARCS
Subscribe at any tier to join our live lesson today at 9:30!
Hey students!
Tonight at 9:30pm EST is our latest installment of Scott’s live Comic Writing class.
This one’s on a topic Scott’s wanted to do for a while now - building story arcs in comics. Every month or so, Scott has conducted a lesson over Zoom paid (and occasionally free) subscribers, going over a variety of topics geared toward the creation of comic books. To date, we’ve had over 30 classes and livestreams, all archived and available for anyone at a paid tier of this newsletter ($7/month or $75/year).
ARCHIVE - Scott's Comic Writing
Here’s an individual breakdown of all the different Comic Writing classes we’ve had so far or are planning on offering:
We’ll be going over some stories from Scott’s own writing career, some multi-media examples, and maybe a few web-slinging highlights…
This class WILL be available for anyone interested in joining the live session, but after today the recoding will only be available for our paid-tier members. And speaking of paid tiers, there’s never been a better time to sign up for the month to see how you like the resources offered and decide from there if it’s worth continuing! We hope you’ll join us tonight at 9:30pm EST, and for the time being, if you have any questions for us on building out subplots across multiple issues or any other miscellaneous asks for Scott, leave those in the comments section and we’ll do our best to address them!

Will there be a video link for the class for subscribers who could not make the live stream last night?
Question for class! How do you prioritize or manage secondary-story arcs when building a story arc?
