Hey guys, it's Scott.
It is… I don't even know what day it is. I know it's Friday, but I just got back at five in the morning from a red-eye from Burbank where I was at the DC offices with
for a couple of days. We're taking a look at the plans for the end of 2025 and into 2026. And I can't tell you how excited we both are. We've got some incredible storytelling coming up, I think, across the line. We've got a big event coming in the fall and then we have some really, really, really cool things coming in the spring. So I'm so honored and thrilled and grateful to be a part of this at DC right now. Marie Javins is a wonderful leader. So are Jim Lee and Anne DePies. The editors there are just, they're all friends at this point. Like, a lot of us go all the way back to New York. Some of them are new, but they're all real dyed-in-the-wool comic people. It's great. And we've got great creators too. So it was a really good trip. I got to hang out with the producer on Wytches, who's a dear friend at this point, Kevin Kolde. We went out for Mexican food, so it was great. So I got back at five in the morning, and at seven tonight, I go back to the airport to go to Dallas for Fan Expo. I get in at midnight, and I'm going to sleep well until the con. I'll be there Saturday and Sunday and my schedule’s here below:

Really excited to see you guys. I haven't been to Dallas, so I'm expecting to meet a lot of new faces. So come by. And again, if you're part of the paid Best Jacket subscriber tier here. If you're a free subscriber, that's great. But if you're a paid subscriber, we do a little thing at the beginning of each signing where you can come up first to get your stuff signed. So it's only $7/month (or $75/year). You can get the subscription now and then you get all of our classes that we do too for Comic Writing 101 and all that stuff.

So anyway, just a really quick post. I just wanted to say, proof of life. I'm here. Things are going really well. It's a crazy time. Kids are graduating from kindergarten and from high school. And our oldest just passed his driver's test, which is exciting and terrifying and all of it. So anyway, I hope you're well. And thanks again for everything!

P.S. This Monday is Final Order Cut-Off for several of the Absolute books, including Deniz Camp and Javier Rodriguez’s amazing fourth Absolute Martian Manhunter issue:

There’s also new printings for the debut Absolute Batman, Superman, and Wonder issues, including the SEVENTH printing of Batman. Hard to believe, and I’m beyond grateful for all the love you’ve given that series. The amazing Mark Spears made a connecting variant cover for those three titles which is pre-orderable through Monday:
Tell your store you want copies today, and I’ll check back in real soon :)
