Re: your point, I keep thinking about some quote I read from Simone, Straczynski or Azzarello re: Wonder Woman and they spoke about all the history and lore and how it calcifies characters that have been around for decades. Whether Absolute or Ultimate, you’re dealing with the blank slate and ways to subvert expectations. I love the blank slate and how the 3 teams have used it so far!
