thanks for touching these type of topics scott, i think lot all of us need to know how unjust the world is for some of our fellow humans.

on the topic that you went on the last paragraph, i think one of the principal things that make those 1%ers that selfish, is the twisted sense of meritocracy we all have, yeah, they probably work hard, but they dont account the incredible amount of luck to have their family, connections etc.

And that sense of twisted meritocracy is fed by the selfish bias, that is common psycological bias we all have, that says that because we can only fully experience our own point of view, we higly overstimate how much our impact is on any given situation.

the following video explains scientifically how important luck is to the equation of achieving things in life, is only 12 minutes long

im glad for your kid graduating and the comic ideas they are having!

Any chance we'll see Clear in a print copy in the future? This has been one of my very favorite comics I've read, I love the concept and it feels so relevant to the world we live in today. The art is also fantastic and I want a copy for my collection!

Hey Scott, just wanted to let you know that Stranger Things is getting a season 5 so it’s not quite ending yet.

I am greatly looking forward to your talk about endings though!

Also, I know it’s still too early to talk spoilers but I’d love to hear your analysis on the Stranger Things villain Vecna. I feel like he’s one of the best and most well executed tv villains in a long time and would love to hear your thoughts on him eventually!
