In terms of content for the classes, it might be fun to workshop something. You could unpack a short script or comic from someone in the class and try to use it to share broader lessons or insight. Or maybe you and a collaborator could create a character or premise or setting or story arc on the fly. Showing examples from your work has been incredible! But it seems inevitable when you see it on the page. It takes a little bit of magic and a lot of work to get to that point. I think it could be helpful if we could experience that process somehow.

Hi Scott. I'm having a great experience with the class and really appreciate you doing it. In terms of something I'd like you to consider for class content, I'm really interested in learning more about how to write in response to a brief. If I want to submit something for an anthology I like for instance, they are likely to have a brief that describes what kind of work they're looking for. Is there a useful way of breaking a brief down so that I can understand it fully?

This prompt is going to keep me up all night! lol. I love prompts they help me with blockages I have when writing. After the first two classes I had to go back and dig a lot deeper with my character arch and story. I think this prompt will help me with capturing details to convey my story in the project I'm working on
