Moving forward, can we be informed sooner than the day before regarding the material that will be covered? I would've gladly checked these 4 books out in advance to familiarize myself with the topic. Thx.

Agreed, it would be helpful to have the link ahead of time, at least a day, communicated via email. I don't use Discord...even embedding the Zoom link in a post like this would be great for a busy dad (I am setting this up for my son). I use Substack myself and this is what I do for full subscriber events. Seems to work well.

Also, I highly suggest joining the Discord server. It has been so beneficial!

I'm referring to getting to read the materials he'll be using. It's hard to familiarize yourself with 4 books in one day as opposed to having a full month between classes to read them.

I know they're not mandatory, but it would be nice for those of us who like to be more engaged with the materials.

Stupid as this sounds, I’m still trying to figure out if there’s a set schedule for these monthly classes, or if we’re just going to be notified a day or two in advance by email?

There is a set schedule. It's every Wednesday, I think set every 4 weeks. However, you can see the schedule on the Discord server under Resources. I hope this helps you!

It even tells you what each lesson will be about.

All well and good, if I can find time to figure out Discord.

9/22 (Voice), 10/20 (Characterization), 11/17 (Characterization), 12/15 (3-Act), 1/19 (Villains), 2/16 (Scene Building), 3/16 (Collaboration), 4/20 (Pitching), 5/18 (Lessons Learned), 6/15 (Students' Choice). There's more on Discord, but this would turn into a novel. Hope this helps you though. Discord has been extremely useful btw.

Thanks. I bought Discord for Dummies, but it’s a snooze.

Which issues are you focusing on for the class? Want to have them ready to go on ComiXology? Thanks Scott.

I'm super excited. I was a late subscriber so I just got caught up on the previous classes and all newsletters last weekend. So it will be my first live class.

Hi Scott, any chance you'll be able to let in Sophie Campbell annual subscribers in time for the next class? Thank you!

They email the link to the email on file couple hours before class starts for paid subs. Keep up with Scott’s Twitter he usually lets everyone know when the link goes out.
