I haven't been this excited for DC since Rebirth. It really does feel like an event that means something! I can't wait to start visiting my shop every week again.
COVID took out my LCS, meaning it's over 100 kilometres for me to find somewhere to buy comics. But this has got me motivated, found a good online store with decent shipping, and pre-ordered #1 and #2. It's been too long since I've read a comic, I've been a Bat-fan since I was tiny, I love your work Scott - really looking forward to getting into this!
I feel the excitement in my LCS for the Absolute line of books coming out. Your book is definitely on my pull. The store owner is stressing to customers to preorder because there is no doubt how epic the run is going to be. I can't wait to experience what you are orchestrating.
Great post, Scott. New 52 Batman got me back into monthlies back in the day. I’m a regular “Wednesday Warrior” these days, but this’ll be my first time back picking up DC books regularly in some time. Psyched for this new ALL-IN initiative.
Also a BATMAN guy from waaay back, really dig and identify with other Batman takes, but I’m fully here for the new ABSOLUTE BATMAN riff. The character design and other art is looking crazycool. Bring it.

In general, I like the idea of this new line. The only objection I have is—Darkseid? Again? He and the Joker need some down time…
