These upcoming books look so amazing, some of the best artists in the industry with the best writer can’t beat that

I’m sure they feel the same, they all have such different styles so I’m sure it’s fun to work with such variety of artists

This may have already been asked and answered, but are these Comixology books ever going to print? I think digital is a great alternative to get a potential larger audience, but still prefer the tangibility of the physical thing.

Yep, they're published digitally at comiXology Originals and then published through Dark Horse later on. Check out Afterlift, which just got printed via the same process!

Awesome. Thanks Tyler!

Yes! About five months after they come out digitally they’ll come out in print from Darkhorse

I second what Mikey asked. Definitely love holding a physical copy in my hands.

I laughed rather hard at the premise for Clear. Scotts foreseeing the future of the drooly greeds of computer consumers in our reality. I mean why not? It seems like lots of post era sci-fi films covers this and it seems to be an acceptable integration into entertainmernt. Just kidding!?

Zero Year is my favorite story hands down!

I loved your Court of Owls

Scott I'm very impressed with the use of (for instance) DC comics facts and continuity in your writing. It's fabulous to run into un-earthed concepts created by the writers, and gives an appeal that's powerful and a value point that brings out the readers appreciation.

Just as I did with Court of Owls, I'm having a lot of fun reading Nocterra and Undiscovered Country. But I just had to chime in with applause at the creative partners you're doing those Comixology projects with. I could look at Francavilla, Manapul, and Capullo (along with Glapion and McCaig) art all day long. Thanks for updating us on these exciting projects. Your enthusiasm as a craftsperson and creator comes through, as does your thoughtfulness as a teacher.

Just finished re-reading the New 52 BATMAN issues #1 through #11 on DC Infinite Universe while listening to the Dark Nights: Death Metal soundtrack album on Apple Music, both of which go well together, and have to say, the Court of Owls saga is one of the best Batman arcs ever.

Wondering if there’s a way to set up notifications when Scott posts something new here now that we won’t be receiving emails for each post? I suppose not, but thought I’d ask anyway.

ComiXology Unlimited still isn’t available in Canada (or I think, outside of the States, but can’t confirm), which sucks. That said, I feel like I’ll be ponying up for these regardless. They sound awesome.

Thanks so much

I LOVE the sound of these stories! Especially excited for Clear, and I'm hoping my local comic store picks up Nocterra. Even by the summary descriptions and the covers, I can imagine the themes explored and wonder about the mood of them. They'll be stories worth saving for!

Thanks so much Nicola, I really appreciate it! The goal is to try new things and experiment with range. So the story with Tula is straight historical fiction while the story with Greg is over the top summer blockbuster, so the point is to push myself to make things outside my comfort zone along side things that lean into all my favorite storytelling elements.

Oh those Comixology comics all sound great.

Professor Snyder, I can assure you you are not taking up too much of our time. We love hearing from you and all the stories that come with it! Can’t wait for October for those books
