So exciting! I actually commented awhile ago on BKV’s Substack about how much potential there is in adapting American comic art in animation almost like the Japanese Manga-Anime model. Stories have of course been mined for years but I’ve found it somewhat jarring in some adaptations how different the art looks. i.e. The Long Halloween adaptation comes to mind, very talented artists worked on it and it was clearly reverent of the source material but Tim Sale’s distinct artistic vision was such a large part of the narrative in the book and I missed it in the film. It is so awesome to hear of you and Jock’s involvement with the production. I am really excited
