Glad to hear that you are having an enjoyable (though busy) summer. It flew by a lot faster than usual, but then again, everything seems to be these days.
Glad you’re doing well, Scott! I’m hyped you enjoyed Weapons. I honestly think it’s my favorite film opening in a really long time. Cregger kinda famously doesn’t start with an outline and just sees where it goes. This might be a silly question, but have you ever written a story that you’ve had published that way? Also, I find it kinda funny that the two biggest films of the year are about vampires and witches….
Great post, Scott! Appreciate all the updates. Great to see Frank Tieri looking good…got to see him at SDCC…and cool you had a chance to see so many friends. Ireland, one of our fam’s favorite places on the planet, looks as beautiful as ever. So cool if you’re all getting spend time there. Sounds like summer is treating you right.
Stoked for more Bane and looming Joker in ABSOLUTE BATMAN, dig that you get to play with the form by working prose in there. Psimilarly psyched for DC KO and your DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH and DoctorStrange/Constantine tales.
Can’t wait to get Back to School (Rodney Dangerfield style) with class…thanks as always for making the time to share your craft with all of us.
Love these updates! And I was so excited recently to see how Darkseid's presence is starting to feel more overt in the Absolute Universe. Like, you could see him in the nature of the universe and its values, but to see him explicitly referenced in one of the books last month was a "there it is" moment. Thanks for all that you do, both for your many day jobs, and for your students here.
Love it. Absolute Batman 11 was fuegoooooo btw

You are definitely on your own about driving in Ireland. 😅 Not a fan.
Yet, as bad as that is, Northern Ireland is another level. Same roads, more aggressive drivers.
They all make the Italians ripping it around blind corners on two wheels of their FIAT seem tame.
